June 14, 2012, ORLANDO, FL - VoicePlay (formerly known as 42Five), the wildly whimsical and internationally acclaimed Orlando based a capella group, announces the release of their fantastical debut full-length album “Once Upon An Ever After” on July 10 in addition to national tour dates to be kicked off in September 2012. “Once Upon An Ever After” is a sparkling compilation of original medleys inspired by both classic and contemporary fairy tales which will have you sweetly reminiscing and singing along to each heartwarming tune while simultaneously being dazzled by VoicePlay’s cutting edge renditions.  Each track on “Once Upon An Ever After” presents an extraordinary twist on these magical soundtracks by solely featuring the world’s most powerful instrument: the human vocal.

Based in Orlando, FL, VoicePlay (formerly 42Five) performs their own incredible brand of entertainment across the country and around the world. What began quite literally as a street corner barbershop act has now evolved into an internationally acclaimed touring sensation comprised of vocalists Earl Elkins, Jr., Geoff Castellucci, Layne Stein, Eli Jacobson and Tony Wakim. VoicePlay is unlike any theatrical experience available today, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice.

The cast of VoicePlay has taken the timeless sound of vocal music and turned it completely on its head. Re-imagined as a full stage show, amazing, humorous, and vertigo inducing harmonies propel VoicePlay’s music-without-music sound as it ping-pongs between eras and styles, channeling the breadth of the musical landscape and lacing it with inventive and often hilarious on-stage theatrics.

To celebrate the forthcoming release of their debut full-length album “Once Upon An Ever After”, VoicePlay will be embarking on a national tour starting in September 2012.  “Once Upon An Ever After” will be available for digital release via iTunes on July 10, 2012 and the exuberant track “The King Has Returned” is currently available to share as a free mp3 download.
