Madina Lake's first single "Hey Superstar" is available online for purchase HERE. Fans can also listen to a full stream of the song at Altpress.com HERE. Madina Lake's highly anticipated new studio album World War III is set for release on September 13th and the band will kick off a North American tour in support (early tour dates below). Madina Lake just completed a series of dates on the Vans Warped Tour as well as the U.K.'s Download Festival at Donington Park this past June. "Hey Superstar" will impact Alternative Radio on August 8th.

Madina Lake lead singer Nathan Leone explains the song, "It feels like everything is becoming completely plastic and contrived lately. From cosmetic adjustments like Botox to technological 'fixes' like Photoshop, Auto-Tune, etc., there's this implication that to be accepted you have to be anything but yourself. That's way too much pressure. I think most people are pretty kickass just as they are, and removing that pressure would probably lead to a much happier life. 'Hey Superstar' is a sentiment to the 'perfect' people that the rest of us are just fine, thanks."

For Madina Lake, World War III closes one chapter and opens another. The Chicago quartet of twin brothers Nathan (Vocals) and Matthew Leone (Bass, Vocals), Mateo Camargo (Guitar, Programming), and Dan Torelli (Drums) has endured more in the past two years than most artists will experience over the course of an entirecareer. Last June, Madina Lake bassist Matthew Leone was hospitalized after intervening in a domestic violence incident in Chicago involving a man beating his wife. In critical condition, Leone's injuries included a fractured skull, broken jaw and a swollen brain as doctors removed one-third of his skull while waiting for the swelling in his brain to go down. Local musicians and supporters pulled together to raise money for Matthew's hospital bills with The Smashing Pumpkins playing a benefit show in Chicago raising over $80,000. A lot of uncertainty followed, with doubts that Madina Lake would ever play together again. Fortunately, Matthew's recovery in the last year has been nothing short miraculous leading to this next chapter in the band's history, which brings us to the band's most exciting album yet, World War III.

Madina Lake's new album will be the third and final installment of their concept trilogy, World War III which continues the Leone brothers' tales of a metaphorical universe. Pouring their life experiences into their songs, Madina Lake set out to release three albums which would congruently tell the story of Madina Lake, a small town of their own creation, which would also serve as the canvas for a much larger message. The first chapter, 2007's From Them, Through Us, to You (Roadrunner Records), introduced the town set in the 1950's and the story is focused on the town socialite(Adalia), who goes missing, and the reaction the town's inhabitants have - a commentary on society's obsession with celebrity and materialism. The second chapter, 2009's Attics to Eden (Roadrunner Records), continued the search for the missing socialite while introducing other characters to the world outside Madina Lake as well as exploring Adalia's journey. The album dove into the psychological aspects of the society and what truly separates and degrades humanity when elements of greed, lying, cheating, violence, power struggles and insecurity are displayed. In the final chapter, World War III, concludes with the discovery of Adalia and an epic battle of good and evil that mirrors human internal struggles with self. The album was produced by Mateo Camargo and Madina Lake except the song "Imagineer" which was produced and written by Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) and Madina Lake.

Over the years, Madina Lake has toured with Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore and Gym Class Heroes, in addition to taking part on several runs of the Vans Warped Tour. Madina Lake is Nathan Leone (Vocals), Matthew Leone (Bass, Vocals), Mateo Camargo (Guitars, Programming), and Daniel Torelli (Drums).
