Atlanta's indie-pop powerhouse Little Tybee is embarking on a tour up the East Coast and into Canada this July. A multi-instrumental family band of sorts, this quintet is undoubtedly both passionate and prolific. Their sophomore album, Humorous to Bees, dropped this Spring on Paper Garden Records and their next EP is slated for release this fall alongside a short European tour as well as a fan-chosen slot in the 2011 Rombello Cruise lineup. Dang!
Little Tybee has recently played alongside several big names such as GIVERS, The Love Language, Sondre Lerche, and Nicole Atkins. Rumor has it members of musical heavyweights such as Of Montreal, Local Natives and Man Man have attended Little Tybee shows and tipped their hats to these up-and-comers as well.
Paste Magazine said it best - "Little Tybee has fully transitioned from being a band in flux to a tight-knit outfit pushing its creative limitations in the studio. At last, Little Tybee has found their voice and they are blasting their sound with little care for the neighbors."
