May 12th, 2011 - New York, NY: Trinidad born, Brooklyn raised MC Theophilus London is set to release his debut album this summer - Timez Are Weird These Days is out July 19th on Warner Bros. Records. The album's opening cut, "Last Name London," is an in-your-face introduction to what Theophilus is all about. XXL has the exclusive premiere and the song is available as a free download in exchange for a ReTweet for 24 Hours.

As London explains, his 11 track debut "captures a moment in time. It's a reflection of what's going on in pop culture right now. Man, times are real weird these days." London doesn't see musical boundaries, and in Timez Are Weird These Days, he's created an equally wide-open album with genre bending sound and a magnetic brand of storytelling. Recorded over the last year in Stockholm, NYC and Los Angeles, London worked with a number of different producers to achieve his sound including Ariel Rechstshaid (Foreign Born, MURS, Glasser), Jokke of The Teddybears, Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio and John Hill (Santigold), who is responsible for "Last Name London."
