Toronto’s THESE ELECTRIC LIVES to host curling bonspiel FUNdraiser

Canada 2010 winners These Electric Lives who will be hosting a curling bonspiel and silent auction on April 30th. We would love to get the event listed on Atari Cool Kids.


The band will be embarking on their first ever tour of the UK. To help raise funds for the self-financed tour the electro-pop indie quartet will be holding a 'FUNdraiser' at the High Park Curling Club. Along with the "Curling-for-Dummies" learn-as-you-play bonspiel led by senior club members and a silent auction, the evening will include a DJ, pool, foosball tournament and bake sale, followed by a performance from These Electric Lives.

**Silent Auction prizes include a pie a month for one year (baked by a grandmother), free consultation and assessment from the Dandelion Naturopathic Clinic, recording session w/ João Carvalho Mastering, headshot photo session w/ Heather Pollock, and more.**


These Electric Live’s infectious songs and high energy live sets have earned them praise and the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Boxer Rebellion (UK), Bang Lime (members of Metric), The Skydiggers and Beast (Montreal). The band has performed on MTV Live and was recently featured on AUX TV's “Band Foto”. The tour will be making stops in Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London, as well as headlining Indie Week Ireland and a Canadian Blast showcase at Liverpool Sound City.
