TOKYO POLICE CLUB ANNOUNCE DELUXE EDITION OF ‘CHAMP’ AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY VIA ITUNES ON JANUARY 18

January 12, 2011 – Tokyo Police Club will see a deluxe edition of their acclaimed sophomore album, Champ, made available exclusively through iTunes Tuesday, January 18 via Mom + Pop Music. The expanded set includes a brand new remix from Born Ruffians and exclusive acoustic version of album track, “Bambi”, along with additional remixes, “Live from Daytrotter” version of “Top 5” and videos for “Bambi” and “Wait Up”. The entire deluxe edition will be available to stream off the Tokyo Police Club Facebook page starting Friday, January 14 - www.facebook.com/tokyopoliceclub. The deluxe edition of Champ will be available in conjunction with Tokyo Police Club’s winter tour, which kicks off Monday night in Rhode Island with Two Door Cinema Club, who join the Ontario quartet through Orlando, on what will be Tokyo Police Club’s largest headlining performances yet (full dates below).

Champ was released this past summer on Mom + Pop Music, once again garnering excellent reviews, from The New York Times and NPR to Alternative Press and Pitchfork, and earning them a third performance on the "Late Show with David Letterman". The Ontario quartet spent the bulk of the past six months on the road, both headlining, as well as supporting the likes of Phoenix and Passion Pit. 2011 is shaping up to be equally busy with much more to be announced in the near future.
