The Electro Wars documentary captures a transitional period in music, not a momentary view or review. This earnest documentation focuses on the recent "blog-house" phenomenon that infiltrated the mainstream market two years ago. Odd collaborations between Kanye West and Daft Punk are prime examples of this.
The Electro Wars also encompasses many factors outside of EDM. It also delves into the phenomenon known as the bedroom producer, the music blog, the remix, and the future of the blog-house movement, or as I like to call it, Contemporary Electro Dance Music. -Stephen Alex Vasquez, Director

"I sought out the Electrolightz band after trolling the music blogs and stumbling onto some of their remixes for Lady Gaga, this fueled my search for their original music. Upon downloading some of their original tracks, I was befuddled to find electronic dance music with substance. Their music has pop resonance that teeters between mainstream and Indie, with grace and aplomb. To lump them in a category with current top 40 Electronic bands like LMFAO, 30H!3, and Black Eyed Peas would be innaccurate, they themselves have resurfaced the emotronica genre, a brave and starking contrast in relationship to the current trend of weightless party EDM.
