Cardiology, Good Charlotte’s fifth studio album and first for Capitol Records, Cardiology, is available today. The band stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to celebrate the release and perform their single “Like It’s Her Birthday.”
Tonight Benji and Joel Madden will guest on “Chelsea Lately” on E! They will also appear on “Lopez Tonight” on TBS this Friday, November 5th, and on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit” on November 15th. As part of the new “Plugged In” concert series, Good Charlotte will play a free show on Thursday, November 4th, at Universal CityWalk Hollywood in Universal City, CA.
“Good Charlotte are multiplatinum scene superstars, but Cardiology might just be their best effort yet,” said Alternative Press, which awarded the album four out of five stars. Cardiology, produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne), is the follow-up to 2007’s Good Morning Revival, which debuted in the Top 10 in 13 countries, including the United States.
Cardiology comes almost exactly a decade after the release of Good Charlotte’s self-titled debut album. The band – vocalist Joel Madden, guitarist Benji Madden, guitarist Billy Martin, bassist Paul Thomas and drummer Dean Butterworth – has sold 10 million records, scored numerous mainstream radio hits (including “The Anthem,” “Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous,” “Hold On” and “Girls and Boys”) and toured extensively. Good Charlotte has appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone and Alternative Press, won an MTV Video Music Award and performed on such shows as “Saturday Night Live,” “TODAY,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” Benji and Joel Madden recently appeared on the cover of Kerrang and Dean Butterworth is the subject of a cover story in the November issue of DRUM!
Good Charlotte's fifth studio album, Cardiology, featuring the hit single "Like It's Her Birthday" is now available in-stores and online at iTunes.
