Nikki & Rich's "Next Best Thing" undergoes quite the transformation here in the hands of Mr. Aoki, from finger-wagging throwback diva-soul to concussive, fist-pump-inspiring progressive house. Perhaps not the most obvious of remix routes, but an expertly navigated one nonetheless. The duo will appear on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic this morning (it airs in the third hour of the 12PM EST/9AM PST slot) before a gig at L.A.'s infamous Viper Room on Saturday, May 15.
