Wildbirds & Peacedrums - Fight For Me

Wildbirds & Peacedrums seem the kind of band who'd enjoy a ceremony - "Fight For Me" sounds like the announcement of something: a marching song, juddering with choral chants and ominous bass drum booms. That apparent lust for ritual might explain why they'll release two vinyl-only EPs (Retina and Iris) over the next couple of months before uniting them together as an album called Rivers in August. From the sounds of things it's not gonna be the happiest of unions, but it'll certainly snare your interest: like a punch-up at a wedding, perhaps.
