Performing alongside M.I.A. will be her own N.E.E.T. recording artists Sleigh Bells and Rye Rye along with Theophilus London, 12th Planet, Ninjasonik, Nguzunguzu and the hardest working man in LA, Destructo. HARD LA & HARD NYC will be the first chance to catch M.I.A. live in support of her upcoming summer release.
On July 17th, HARD will transform the Los Angeles State Historic Park into a huge day-long, two-stage festival. The caravan heads to New York next where HARD has partnered with The Bowery Presents for another two-stage outdoor extravaganza on July 24th at South Island Field on Governors Island. Both shows will have additional artists on the lineup to be announced closer to event dates. Tickets for both events are available starting Friday, March 26th. Scroll down for details on dates and where tickets can be purchased.
For the past 3 years, HARD has been invigorating L.A. with their in-demand festivals selling out the city's landmark venues. In 2009, the globally recognized brand partnered with The Bowery Presents to launch HARD NYC and successfully began to expand across the country. Watch for HARD in 2010 as they plan for a full world takeover.

Fresh off of a few electrifying performances at SXSW, Poirier begins album promo full throttle for his new 2-CD album Running High! Releases on 30 March in Canada and 4 May in the US. Pre-order the album and get a limited-edition Running High poster!
Every Poirier release presents a new, yet equally slammin’, perspective. The critically acclaimed Breakupdown (2005) and No Ground Under (2008) were warm ups for 2009’s cavalcade of dancehall-soca-electro EPs, culminating in the latest collection of bangers, Running High. Giving the massive what it wants, yet providing a musical education in what it needs, Poirier is a producer and DJ who has no boundaries except, perhaps, the rule that it’s gotta have bass, and it’s got to bounce. With this philosophy, Poirier will keep the dance rammed.

The Young Punx - Ready For The Fight by MofoHifi Records
The Young Punx return for their second studio album, a startling and inventive exploration of the deliberate destruction of genre boundaries in electronic music. Probably the first album in history to have toyed with drum and bass, heavy metal, electropop and cuban timba within the first 5 minutes (!) “Mashpop and Punkstep” is a vibrant manifesto for the next generation of mashup music. Featuring the epic collaboration with Memphis hip hop Don ‘Count Bass D’ – “Ready For the Fight” (already heard as the theme music for EA Games “Fight Night 4″ and as official entry music for world middleweight champion Arthur Abraham), the J-pop electro disco of SugarCandySuperNova and the Ragga House of “Juice and Gin” the album spans Puccini Opera, Punk rock, hip hop, synth pop, Japanese rock and much more…

Pac Div - Shut Up - Music Video from Mid C Media on Vimeo.
Not sure when vibrate-your-mouth electro decided it was time to grow a heart, but if these are the results long may it keep throbbing: this Reset remix of Fenech-Soler's "Stop And Stare" in tears at the Bora Bora Beach party. Good tears, though. Bliss tears. Find the original in April, out as a single through Moda Music.
Pardon the pun, but Philly's Dr. Dog–in all their jaunty, freewheeling, nonthreatening gang-likeness (that's the entire band you hear singing harmonies)–are the sound of brotherly love. "Stranger" is the first single from their new album Shame, Shame and, like most Dr. Dog songs, sounds like something you'd be psyched to find in your parents' attic–wholly vintage (ballad snares, dusty pianos) but ultimately cooler than anything else you own.
Take a behind the scenes tour of what pop songstress Lolene likes to call The Electrick Hotel.
